Kenyan Economist David Ndii has left Kenyans on social media talking after sending a bold message to Kenyans on the Precautions to take against Covid_19 management .
In a post on his Twitter page today, Ndii said that if anyone is going to wear a Mask, then they need to do it right adding that there’s no point to look funny in it.
Ndii went further to say that Kenyans should be cautious of risk of touching surfaces and faces in public adding that he noticed many people are touching tables, holding escalators then scratching exposed nostrils and that Kenyans must do their best to beat Covid_19 because they are on their own.
“Good people. Masks aren’t pretty. If you going to wear one, do it right. No point looking funny for nothing. I was in a restaurant the other day where all the wait staff’s nostrils were exposed.
Also be conscious of risk of touching surfaces and your face in public places. Observed many people this morning touching tables, holding onto escalators then scratching exposed nostrils. We must do our best to beat this thing because as you know, we are on our own.” Ndii wrote.
Below are Reactions of Netizens on his thoughts.
