Kenyan Blogger Robert Alai has taken social media by storm after after posting a video of Interior Cabinet Secretary Dr.Fred Matiangi saying that the Government of Kenya will not make a change on their Previous decisions on betting in the country barely a day after Betting Giants Sportpesa announcement Resumption of Business in the country.
In the video Interior cabinet Secretary Dr.Fred Matiangi says that he has seen the debate in the country about betting and says that they are not going back on the decisions that the Government took on betting and gambling and that Kenyans need to understand that it is something the Government has taken a decision on and that the president has been firm about it.
Matiangi goes further to say that they respect the decision made by parliament but says they are going to ask for an amendment adding that the Government wants sanity to prevail in the country and that that thing almost destroyed families and children and that under no circumstances will the Government allow that kind of madness to continue.adding that the Government cannot allow criminals and Money launderers to from Eastern Europe to to come and do in Kenya what they
can’t do in their countries.
